I am excited and sad at the same time for my dear friends, the Carnes family. They have been such an amazing anchor for me as I ministered through Beautiful Gate Translations in Romania. Peggy and Larry have served in Romania for over 14 years with International Mission Board. Without a doubt, the Lord has worked through them to reach thousands upon thousands of Romanians, Moldovans and other people groups in surrounding Eastern European countries.

They are wrapping up their household and ministry obligations in Bucharest and will be flying to the US on April 3rd. Seasons come and seasons go in our lives as Believers. It is now their season to say goodbye to one aspect of ministry and say hello to new horizons which the Lord has in store for them.

Will you please be in pray for this dear family as they make this transition? Several aspects of their move are still “up in the air”. They would greatly appreciate your continued love and support through prayer.

As many of you will remember, Larry and Peggy were very instrumental in the success of BGT’s first National Women’s Leadership conference to introduce the Romanian version of Beth Moore’s “Jesus the One and Only”. My gratitude for their hospitality and love as I stayed with them several times in the past few years is immeasurable. Peggy and I traveled across the country and back twice with many wild stories to treasure. Laughter, love and fellowship in the midst of some scary challenges is just an added blessing of being a Christian. Now I see why Jesus sent out His disciples as teams of two!!

Their eldest daughter, Maggie, is already stateside working in a fabulous job in the DC area. Samuel and Maricatherine are precious darlin’s who graciously gave up their rooms as I stayed in their home. Thanks so much!!! They will have quite a change in their worlds, but how exciting to see what their next adventure will be!

I look forward to continued fellowship and fun with the Carnes as they get established here on this side of the Atlantic.

Until next time, thank you for your prayers and support for BGT. There is a lot more work to do!

In His grace,
Paulette
