After rising at 6:30AM this morning, I had a peaceful morning. Before we all headed to church, we were able to visit over coffee. We attended church at Emanuel Baptist in southern Bucharest, since Frank preached there this morning. It is such a wonderful congregation and typical of churches here in Romania. The people are very warm and loving. I really miss the hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Everyone says, “Pace” (paw-cheh) meaning “Peace” when entering and leaving the church. The congregation is fairly small, but very passionate in their prayers and faith. It was a 2 hour service with singing, reading of the Word, prayer, individual praying from the congregation, small group prayer, preaching, and much more singing.

Frank preached from Acts 3 about Peter and John ministering to the lame man at the Beautiful Gate. Really powerful sermon with tons of passion. Frank is an excellent preacher and most excellent shepherd with a true pastor’s heart. The Lord spoke to me very directly through the sermon. Frank mentioned me with regards to the Bible study material via Beautiful Gate Translations, and encouraged folks to talk with me if they had an interest in Bible study material. There is one man who was very interested in participating in a study. Fortunately, the IMB missionary gal working in that church attended the training conference and can lead a study with he and his wife.

We then headed home to change and went off to lunch at the mall. Pizza and Pepsi. In spite of the fact that it was Pepsi, not Coke, it was still yummy! Then for an extra treat, we went to Starbucks. Because I bought a mug, I got a free Tall White Mocha and a free bag of coffee!!! Wooo-hooo!

We looked in a few shops while Frank patiently waited. What a trooper. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here with the Camarotti’s and Lee G. Lee is a fabulous lady and extremely talented media gal. She is fun and has a hilarious sense of humor. She makes me laugh!!

Then we headed over to see the People’s Palace, which is the second largest residence in the world. Ceausescu built it for his home back before he and his wife were executed. An unfinished smaller palace stands next to it which his wife was having built for herself. Both are now used as offices. It turned into a sunny beautiful day today, which was perfect for the walk.

As we drove home, I got pretty sleepy, so I took a nap, while others chilled in their own corners. Then did some laundry, sorted through conference stuff and set things out to head to Cami and Alex’s house tomorrow for lunch. I will be doing a taped radio interview tomorrow at noon with Daniela of Voice of the Gospel. Please remember to pray for me for clarity and correct words.

Now, I am winding down and will head to bed soon. Tomorrow, I hope to post a bunch of pics. Looks like Frank’s laptop is now fixed to accommodate pictures. Unfortunately, my camera went on the fritz today with a lens that won’t focus. What a total bummer!!!! I have been asking the Lord for a better camera to use on these trips in order to get better quality shots. However, I didn’t feel justified getting one, since I still had my little Cool Pix. Now, I think I really need a new one. Can I claim that God provides all my need??????? We shall see. :o)

So good night all and thanks so much for joining me here at this blog. I have a very special picture and note to share with you tomorrow when the pics get downloaded.

Night night.
